TeacherEase Discontinuing FREE Accounts

Since our creation as a business in the early 2000’s, teachers have been able to create FREE individual accounts on TeacherEase. In years past, this exposure allowed us to find customers all over the world (schools who purchased subscriptions for the whole building). This helped us jumpstart the company.
Sadly, this era has come to an end. Web-based gradebooks are no longer new technology, and FREE teachers rarely result in paying customers/schools. In addition, changes in the cyber security landscape create a cost to hosting free accounts that we cannot justify. As a result we have decided to discontinue support for FREE teachers.
The following changes will apply to FREE teacher accounts:
Immediately, FREE teachers will not be able to create classes, rosters, assignments, or attendance. Those pages will be disabled.
We will delete FREE teacher accounts, and all associated data, starting September 15, 2025 (about 3 months from now). If you would like to save your data, please do so prior to this date.
Thank you for using our service. We hope it has delivered value to you. We encourage our FREE teachers to seek other solutions for the 2025-26 academic year, and beyond.
