Common Goal Systems Launches Learning Management System for 1-to-1 Computing

Elmhurst, IL (September 7, 2012) – Common Goal Systems announces its newest TeacherEase product, the Learning Management System for 1-to-1 Computing. This software allows teachers in technology rich environments to run digital classrooms. As schools deploy hardware, networking, and professional development for new computing initiatives, they also need to plan for software to manage digital instruction. TeacherEase fills this need.

"Education is changing, and we're building products for emerging instructional practices" says Mike Xakellis, CEO for Common Goal Systems. "Our software is designed for environments where students have 1-to-1 computing devices, digital curriculum replaces paper textbooks, and standards-based education focuses on student learning. TeacherEase increases student engagement and helps teachers make the transition."

The TeacherEase LMS incorporates: standards-based curriculum planning, digital instruction management, online student workspace, electronic assignment submission, feedback and grading, classroom management, formative assessment, standards-based grading, and collaboration tools. The product is currently available in beta and will be generally available in spring 2013. More information is available at www.teacherease.com/lms.aspx.
