Add a Link If you add a hyperlink to TeacherEase on your own web-site (HTML below), we'll extend your individual subscription by 3 months. Limit one per teacher.
Refer a Teacher If you refer a teacher and they use TeacherEase for a month (details below), we'll extend your individual subscription by 3 months. No limit.
Schedule a Demo We often give web-based demos to principals interested in TeacherEase for the whole school. If you schedule a demo with your principal, we'll extend your individual subscription by 6 months. Limit one per school.
Your School Purchases If your school purchases a yearly TeacherEase subscription for 5 teachers or more, we'll send you a $100 Amazon.com Gift Certificate. Limit one per school.
Enable Parent Access Parents can purchase a portion of your TeacherEase subscription (much like they purchase other supplies for the classroom). TeacherEase offers a convenient link for parents to make a quick donation (configurable by the teacher, of course). So setup your parents to access TeacherEase, they may purchase some or all your subscription.

 

 

Yearly Subscription Fees
TeacherEase is a 'hosted service.' We handle all the technical details (hardware, software, etc.), you just login and use it. As such, we charge a yearly subscription fee based upon the number of active teachers, administrators, and other staff using the system.


TeacherEase has two separate modules: Gradebook and Lesson Planning/Curriculum Mapping. Each module may be purchased separately, or they can be purchased together (second module is 50% off). Yearly subscription fees are per teacher, with an additional charge for administrators or other staff. Report Cards can be purchased separately (contact your representative for details).

  • Administrator and other staff accounts are priced at the same rate as teachers.
  • There is no charge for parent or student accounts.
  • Individual teachers can purchase subscriptions in monthly increments.
  • Subscriptions include login access, electronic documentation, and customer support.
  • Physical manuals may be printed from electronic documentation at no charge.
  • Subscriptions will run over the summer, and cannot be suspended.
  • All prices are in US Dollars ($USD).

 

 

Deletion of Expired Subscriptions
As long as your subscription is current, TeacherEase will maintain your data (including multiple years' data). Expired subscriptions are preserved for 6 months beyond the teacher's last login, After 6 months of disuse, accounts will be deleted.

 

This policy allows teachers to abandon their accounts over the summer (usually ~3 months) without losing data -- they just need to make sure that they've logged in within the last 6 months.

 

 

Incentive Program Details

  • Incentive program is not available to teachers whose school has purchased a subscription.
  • For the "Add a Link" incentive, just paste the following HTML code onto your web site:
    <a href="http://www.teacherease.com">TeacherEase Web-based Gradebook</a>
    The page needs to be available to the general Internet (it can't be locked behind a login). Send us an email with a link to that web-page. We'll verify the link and credit your account.
  • For "Refer a Teacher," the referred teacher must 1) register with a valid email address 2) be a teacher at a school 3) enter your email address in the "referred by" field when they register (or notify support@common-goal.com to add this information later), 4) login at least 10 times, 5) the latest login must be at least one month after initial registration, 6) create at least 10 assignments with scores, 7) enter 10 days attendance, 8) enter email addresses for 5 students 9) send 10 emails to students or parents. When these conditions are met, the referring teacher will be credited and notification sent by email.
  • For "Schedule a Demo," contact sales@common-goal.com to arrange a presentation.
  • For "Your School Purchases," to earn the gift certificate your school needs to pay for at least 5 subscriptions for a whole year (FREE teachers don't count). Limit one per school.


TeacherEase is a great web-based program that allows teachers to organize their lesson plans, share those lessons, and cover the standards.

The lesson planning module is very helpful. I really like how the template can be customized to include the components you need such as goals, objectives, materials, step by step procedures, and assessments. All the state standards are already in the system making it very easy to use. The ability to print up plans is a great feature too.
